Juno Engineering is situated at Matamata, in the Eastern Waikato region of the central North Island of New Zealand. Matamata is a quiet rural town about 40 minutes from Hamilton, Tauranga and Rotorua. With reasonably low house prices (from around $100,000) and rentals ($150 -$180/wk), plenty of outdoor opportunities and good schooling it is a good place to get ahead and raise children.
Juno's new workshop built 1999, and extended 2002, is spacious and well lit with ten fully appointed work areas and fixtures for another six or more.Travelling times to work are counted in just a few minutes. Each side of the workshop has its own gantry and the production side is fitted with 1ton lifters. We have a fully appointed Machine shop, profile cutter, 160ton pressbrake etc. The main line of work is varied but centering on the transport industry including; Bathtubs, Compactors, Huka units and flat decks. Varous other lines include various heavy buckets, rippers, forks, trailers and some stainless lines.
Employees have the option of 8 - 10 hour working days (6.30/7.30am -4/5pm) five days a week (no weekend work). Juno works on the floor supervising and there is a good team spirit. Fishing is a favourite with the team. Annual holidays are 3 weeks at Christmas/New Year, boots and overalls supplied, coffee and tea is provided.
Juno Engineering is particularly keen to hear from qualified Fitter/Welders to work in our progressive and expanding company, wages individually negotiated.
